About & Experience
Operator first. Advisor second.
I'm a business owner, a husband and father, and someone who genuinely enjoys the work of building things. I live in Arkansas with my family.
I've spent my career where marketing, revenue, customer success, and operations meet: in agencies, in SaaS, and in a company of my own. Along the way I've hired and developed teams, learned a few lessons the expensive way, and come to believe that most growth problems are really decision problems.
What I enjoy most is sitting with a founder who is stuck on something hard and helping them see it clearly. Sometimes that means finding the real constraint. Sometimes it means saying no to a good idea so the right one gets done. Often it means helping a team take ownership of results the founder has been carrying alone.
I believe healthy growth comes from clarity, discipline, strong teams, and sound decisions. I try to do the work honestly, take responsibility for my part, and treat a client's business with the same care I'd want for my own.
Outside of work, most of my time goes to my family.

ZenMaid · VP of Revenue (past role)
Scaling SaaS revenue
ZenMaid makes software for residential cleaning businesses. I held senior roles there across marketing, revenue, and customer success, and ultimately served as VP of Revenue.
During that time, the company grew annual recurring revenue from roughly $2.3 million to more than $4.5 million, and trial-to-paid conversion improved from about 25% to about 50%. Those were team results. Product, operations, support, and leadership all had a hand in them.
My part was mostly the connective tissue: building stronger acquisition, activation, and retention systems, building and leading the teams responsible for revenue, and working with product, operations, and the executive team so that marketing, sales, and customer success were solving the same problem instead of three different ones.
The biggest lesson I took from it: in SaaS, growth problems rarely live where they first show up. A lead problem is often a conversion problem. A conversion problem is often an onboarding problem. You have to look at the whole customer lifecycle to find the real constraint.
- Annual recurring revenue
- ~$2.3M → $4.5M+
- Trial-to-paid conversion
- ~25% → ~50%

- Marketing, revenue & customer success
Figures are approximate company results during my tenure. I'm no longer with ZenMaid.

Commonstate · Co-Founder, 2022–2026
Building and selling a business
In 2022 I co-founded Commonstate, a full-service marketing agency. We grew it into an established business generating more than $800,000 in annual revenue, and in 2026 Commonstate was acquired by Lift Media Group.
Owning a business teaches you things a job title can't. Revenue and profit are different conversations. Client retention is as much a delivery problem as a sales problem. Every hire changes the economics of the whole company, and cash flow doesn't care how good the pipeline looks.
I was involved in all of it: winning and keeping clients, building recurring relationships, leading the team, managing delivery, watching margins, and eventually working through the process of selling the company.
That experience shapes how I advise owners today. I know what it feels like when the decision is yours and so is the money.

Agency & SaaS · Growth leadership
Connecting marketing to the business
Across agencies and SaaS companies, I've worked on most of the levers that move a business: paid acquisition, conversion, revenue operations, go-to-market, retention, team structure, and the operating rhythm that holds it all together.
What ties it together isn't any single channel or tactic. It's being able to connect a marketing decision to what it does to cash, margin, and the team that has to carry it out, and helping leaders decide what deserves attention first.
